Windham County Debtor Rights Lawyer Discusses Knowing Your Rights Under The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

Sometimes as a Windham County Debtor Rights Lawyer I get asked about Reasonable Procedures by the FCRA.  A key provision of the Fair Credit Reporting Act is a stipulation that the credit reporting agencies uphold an accurate and detailed credit report in regard to you.  The Act also has a provision that credit reporting agencies use reasonable policies and procedures to ensure that the dates they have comprised in your credit report is accurate and complete.  As a Windham County Debtor Rights Attorney I also advise that the Act also necessitates providers of your credit report information, such as your bank, car lender, or employer, to also have policies and procedures in place to maintain and preserve an accurate and detailed credit report.
